Curriculum-Overview

Let your potential soar at Thames Primary Academy.

Thames Primary Academy seeks to provide a well rounded, academic and social education for our children in a bright, stimulating and fun atmosphere. We have the highest expectations of pupil attainment, teacher performance and parental involvement and we encourage everyone to strive for excellence, in order to achieve potential. We seek challenge and embrace change in order to improve.

In 2014 a new National Curriculum was introduced by the Government, here at Thames we have been working hard to refresh our school approach and provision for pupils. As part of this work we have decided to implement the Cornerstones Curriculum, a nationally recognised approach for delivering outstanding learning opportunities for children.
